The Cashbook balance changed because you entered or removed documents, debited an account or credited a cash account. If you created a new document in the Cashbook with new transactions, or if you saved a document by clicking on a new folder in the Cashbook, the Cashbook balance will reflect these changes.

The "Total Receipts" is the total sum of the cash spent in the run, which is expressed in two parts: open transactions (bill transactions and cheque transactions) and ticked transactions. The "Total Expense" is the total sum of the debits in the cashbook ledger. The "Total Expense" is comprised of all transactions in the Cashbook, both ticked and unticked.

The "Credits" are the credits to your accounts. The "Credits" can only be created from ticked transactions. If all transactions are deleted and only ticked transactions remain, then the "Credits" will reflect the "Total Expense".
